One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.
You are what you eat, and you feel how you eat.
Dietary habits can trigger chemical and physiological changes within the brain that alter our behavior and emotions. Most people understand the link between what they eat and their physical health, but the link between what you eat and your mood, your energy, how you sleep, and how you think is actually much more immediate. What you eat (or don’t eat!) for breakfast will have an effect on you by mid-afternoon, and what you’re eating all day will have a huge impact today and down the road.
Regardless of your goal, the steps are the same:
Commit to yourself and your goal Experience and learn from the choices you make and you will Achieve success in whatever you are after
…and make no mistake about it, Nutrition is at the base of it all!
We have a challenge for you…
Grab a pen and paper and write down everything you ate and drank yesterday. Now, answer these questions honestly.
How was your energy level?
How did you sleep last night?
How was your appetite?
What foods did you eat that made you feel really good and nourished?
What foods did not?
How does this impact your current goal?
What changes will you make today, and going forward, based on your findings?
