Congratulation to Jordan Miller for an outstanding 18 weeks with TCL. She is one of the most dedicated clients I have worked with. I forget so many times that she is 19 years old. Her maturity, her work ethic, her desire to make herself better is far beyond her young age. I am so proud of what she has accomplished so far. I can’t wait to see where the future takes her!
Jordan Miller Physical Changes
What was your expectation prior to starting the The Cynergistic Life Fitness, Mindset & Personalized Nutrition Program?
After watching my sister and her wife do TCL for 12 weeks, I expected to lean out.
Did we meet your expectations?
Yes, not only did I lean out, what I didn’t expect was to get to know my body the way I have. The way what I eat effects the way I feel, the amount of sleep I get changes how I feel throughout the day. How much I drink throughout the day effects the scale. As a CrossFit athlete how I feel is very important to me and how I perform. After logging my food, tracking weight, measurements, simply keeping track of almost everything I learned how to manipulate my body in order to feel and perform the best I can. My coach Dianne has guided me every step of the way from helping me feel less hungry to listening to everything I have to say and most importantly helping me achieve all my goals and more. It’s very personal and that’s one of the things I enjoy the most.
What are some of the most powerful lessons you are walking away with?
Discipline. Lots and lots of discipline. Also-donuts don’t help you reach your goals. BUT thinking about them isn’t so bad. Having something to motivate yourself with was what got me through most of the time. In the beginning the scale was everything to me… now that I am halfway through my second 12 weeks I’m realizing the scale ISN’T everything. But how I feel is everything… A number on the scale is just a number on the scale.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Since starting TCL I have PR’d all my lifts by at least 10lbs. At 19 years old it was hard to balance eating right and being a kid. Macros made it easy for me to go out and be with friends while keeping on track!
I definitely wouldn’t call myself a success story just yet, my journey with TCL is no where near over. Every day I find new goals, every day I achieve other goals. It’s the small things that mean the most to me. Eventually it will be a bigger picture, but not just yet. I am beyond excited for my future with TCL.
