Being grateful or showing gratitude can prove to be a very powerful life skill – it will enhance your self worth, re-energize you physically and emotionally, and make you a magnet for all things positive, but it takes practice.
Finding something good in each and every day harnesses the power of gratitude and makes us better people. By consistently practicing gratitude our ability to withstand the negative situations in our lives is much stronger.
We have the potential to diminish and eliminate feelings of envy, resentment and even depression simply by being grateful every day!
Create a Gratitude Journal and write down 5 things you are grateful for. It can be in any format you choose, but make sure you can access and add to it easily. Need some ideas?
Whatever you choose, make it your own. Journal the things that you are grateful for today, and continue to add to this list and make it a daily habit. Notice how things change for you and enjoy it!
