Ninety-nine percent of all failures come from people who have a habit of making excuses.
George Washington Carver
You are 100% responsible for your life.
Let that sink in a bit.
What does that mean to you? How does it show up in your life? Are you 100% responsible?
Well, let me ask you this: Have you ever blamed anyone or anything for any circumstances in your life? Have you ever complained about anything?
If you answered yes to either question, then you do not take 100% responsibility for your life. Taking 100% responsibility means you acknowledge that YOU create everything that happens to you. It means you understand that you are the cause of the experience. If you want to be really successful in anything that you do, then you will have to give up blaming and complaining and take total responsibility for everything in your life. Starting NOW!
It is a painful thing to look at your own trouble and know that you yourself and no one else has made it.
Try it! Take personal responsibility for your life today and really feel the difference it makes. This is truly a game changer!
Notice when you make an excuse, blame someone or complain about something and find your responsibility in it.
Life consists of each day. Not just the big events sometime in the future. So don’t forget to take responsibility for the little things. Don’t postpone it. Taking responsibility for your life can be hard and taxing on you and the benefits are far reaching!
As with all of these lessons you experiment with, be patient. Change takes time and is not something you master in a few days… just get started and see what happens!
