Congratulations to Emily Forbes on her 12 week TCL transformation!
Lost 16.6#'s Body Weight
Lost 4.5% Body Fat
Increased her muscle mass 10.1%
Lost 6 inches off of her waist
Lost 5 inches off her hips and
Lost 4 inches off her chest.....
AND all of this happened while she was recovering from wrist surgery! Another example that if the goal to succeed is present, you can work around anything to achieve it! So proud of you Emily! Looking forward to your next 12 week round! 🙂
I leaned that I can succeed and can make me the healthiest version of myself. For a long time I didn't work too hard at maintaining a healthy diet because I didn't think I could stick with it or that it wouldn't make a significant difference in my life. But, I decided to actually try to make a change and I'm happier and healthier than I've ever been. Maybe most surprising is that I am actually able to cook, and I'm even enjoying it!
Now, I'm actually at the goal weight that I always lied that I was, which I never really thought I could do! Also, after getting injured I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get back to the place I had been with my lifts and workouts, but now I feel even better than I did before, and I think a huge part of that is that I now have the right nutrition that helps to build muscles and burn fat and calories.
My main goal is to just try to keep myself healthy and active. It's not really about the measurements or the weight; it's more about me taking the time to actually take care of myself.
I think that the most powerful and life changing lesson that I've learned is that the process works, and it's not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I am still able to live my life and as long as I'm smart, I can eat anything. There's nothing "off limits" because it's not a diet, it's a change in lifestyle.
I think the thing that I need to keep learning and working toward is making sure that I don't fall into old routines. I also need to accept that one bad day does not mean that I've failed.
Thanks for all your help during this process Cindy
